We went to visit a new landlord client who has a 2 bedroom house in Totterdown and they are in the process of refurbishing the house as the previous tenant was there for 9 years. We advised that this house would suit a professional couple due to the proximity to the city centre and also because they want long term tenants. Often a couple will stay in a property longer than sharers and there is less wear and tear at the end of the tenancy. 

Whilst the landlord is expecting the refurbishments to take 3 weeks or so we will begin marketing within the next week in order to reduce the potential void period if they were to wait until the end of the works to start marketing. Totterdown is walking distance to the City Centre and Temple Meads and is becoming increasing popular with professional tenants.
